China's scenic sites reached 20,000 Nov. 4, 2005
A report issued by China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) showed that the number of scenic spots in China had reached 20,000. Scenic sites have accounted half of China's tourism industry.

China's first automatic boarding system has been launched in the Baiyun Airport in Guangzhou City on Friday. China Southern Airlines is the first airline company in the country providing the new service.

Online payment limit affects tourism sales Nov. 1, 2005
A regulation which sets limit to the amount of online payment affected the business transaction volume of Internet tourist agents. Some sales agent reported their business volume to have decreased by two-thirds on the day the regulation was published.
