The longest river in China and the third longest river in the world, the 6,300 kilometer Yangtze River starts at the southern foothills of the snow-covered Geladandong Peak of the Tanggula Mountains in southwestern Qinghai Province. It flows past 2 autonomous regions and 6 provinces including Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu, and Shanghai City, where it runs into the East China Sea.

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1 Entry Shangai
Our guide will pick you up at Shanghai airport and escort your to check in to your comfortable hotel.

Day 2 Shanghai(B, L, D)
Full day tour shows this fast-paced city at emporium-lined Nanjing or Huai Hai Road , the collections of the Shanghai Museum , and Jade Buddha Temple . Then on to visit the European-style Bund and see a performance at the Children's Palace. Tonight, enjoy an acrobatic show.

Day 3 Shanghai to Wuzhen
After breakfast, travel by private coach to visit Wuzhen, where an intricate system of canals, with ancient pavilions and overhead bridges, combine with an abundance of handmade traditional wares and charismatic locals. Return to Shanghai in the afternoon.

Day 4 Shanghai to Huangshan
Fly to Huangshan this morning. On arrival, be met and transferred to Taoyuan Hotel at the foot of the mountain. Visit the Hot Springs and Cloud Valley if time permits.

Day 5 Huangshan(B, L, D)
This morning, take the cable car to the top of Mt. Huangshan as you begin to take the cable car to climb the mountain, you will find yourself among the magnificent scenery. Enjoy the view of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak , the Peach Blossom Valley , the Lion Peak , the Flying-over Rock and the Bright Summit. Stay at the Xihai hotel on the mountain.

Day 6 HuangshanB, L, D)
After breakfast, continue to the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion and the Xihai Grand Canyon. After lunch, take the cable car again to get to the foot of the mountain and transfer back to Huangshan city. Visit the Tunxi Old Street . Stay at the Jianguo hotel in the city of Huangshan.

Day 7 Huangshan to Shanghai to Yichang(B, L, D)
Fly to Shanghai this morning, then in transit to Yichang. After a brief city tour, transfer to pre-board your deluxe President No. 1 Cruise ship

Day 8 Yangtze River Cruise(B, L, D)
Set sail this morning, Stop at San Dou Ping to see the Three Gorges Dam Project. Reboard the ship and sail through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock before continuing through Xiling Gorge.

Day 9 Yangtze River Cruise(B, L, D)
At Badong, take a small junk along the Shenlong Stream to enjoy the marvelous spectacles of the nature.

Day 10 Yangtze River Cruise(B, L, D)
After breakfast, go ashore to v isit the Shibao Block

Day 11 Chongqing to Dazu(B, L, D)
Disembark in Chongqing.Travel by coach to Dazu, famed for its Buddhist archeological sites. Lunch in Dazu; sightseeing includes monumental Buddhist sculptures at Baodingshan. Return to Chongqing and check in to your deluxe Hilton Chongqing Hotel .

Day 12 Depart Chongqing
This morning is free to explore the city. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
