Chongqing- "Mountain city"&"Fog city"

Chongqing, a city on the bank of Yangtze river, is attracting world-wide tourists. Because the climate here is always cloudy and misty, it has got the name of "fog city". It is also known as the"mountain city" for its characteristic geography. The buildings there are built on the hillsides and surrounded by numerous mountains. It is a city without bike.

Arrive / Chongqing
Arrive at Chongqing. Be met at the airport & transferred to the hotel. Free at leaisur for the rest of the day.

Day 2 (B, L, )
Chongqing
Full day tours to Dazu,(about 2.5 hours); Visit the Beishan Grottoes,Baoding Grottoes,local farmers¡¯house. Then drive back to Chongqing.

- Dazu Grottoes: It is a World Cultural Heritage with more than 50,000 Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian rock carvings and 100,000 characters of inscriptions since Tang Dynasty.

Day 3 (B, L, )
Chongqing / On board
A half day tour to Chongqing Zoo, City Hall, Central Square, Farmers' market.

- Chongqing Zoo: The Giant pandas & Lesser pandas & Golden hair monkeys & South China Tigers can be seen.
- People's Congress Hall: It is a giant traditional building with a large square,where plenty of people do morning and evening exercise everyday.
- The Farmer's market: It is an attractive place to see,where you can see abundant foods and vegetables.
